This Newcomb brand guitar looks very similar to a Harmony H-74 or maybe a Meteor. I seriously doubt Newcomb was building these on their own - most probably a Harmony product. Newcomb was a succcessful tube amp manufacturer (similar to Webcor, Masco, Bogen, Eico, etc. ). Those should be DeArmond pickups though it is very hard to tell form the picture. There is a small chance this could be a product of Japan - since other companies like National had already shifted to Japanese Production by the late 60's. The block inlays on the fretboard indicate this would have been a fairly high end guitar at the time. The Bigsby is a nice plus for sure.
