Crate Vintage Club 50 tube 2x12 USA amp in LA for $250

This is a heck of a lot of 2 x 12 tube amp for only $250. I've seen and heard these used as gigging amps several times - replacing the speakers and one or two of the preamp tubes makes a huge bnoticeable improvement in tone as well.

Per the recommendation of my readers, I am attempting to insert a direct LINK to the CL listing for the first time on this post - we'll see if it works. - JC

YIPPEE! The LINK feature now works (thanks to Bloggers new updated editor) and You can link to the original CL post by clicking on the original post title below. I will do this from now on. - Jim C

50 watt all-tube combo amplifier from mid '90s. Two channels (clean and gain), both with individual reverb controls. Two 12" speakers. Footswitch included.

This is a nice workhorse amp. Heavy and solidly built in the USA. It has been gigged on, so the tolex has some wear and tear, but nothing horrible. Can get plenty loud--would be good for blues, rock or even punk. Probably could handle just about any style except metal. Decent headroom, and the overdrive channel warms up nicely.

There has been some minor repair work done to the circuit board, but everything works fine (just want to be up front).
